Vladimir Martynov is a world-renowned composer, pianist, thinker and writer. One of the most discussed people in the modern composer environment.
Author of music for many films, including “Cold Summer of ’53” by Alexander Proshkin, “Island” by Pavel Lungin, “Loro” and Oscar-winning “The Great Beauty” by Paolo Sorrentino.
His composition “The Beatitudes · Kronos Quartet” was played at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral took place on Monday 19 September 2022 at Westminster Abbey.
